​Develop an operational framework for establishing a career pathways program in the Division and Bureau. 

Address outdated and School District/Parks District-centered financial burden from intergovernmental agreement for Broadway Field with partners to aid in the redesign of the playing field and facility as a whole and to strengthen the partnership. 

Bring back consistent Leave No Trace outreach within our program and to add on a wildfire component to that uses the outreach and education that we already do while placing additional educational booths in or around
wildfire hazard zones.

Develop a draft Strategic Plan for Distribution of Land, including acquisition, disposition, and a review of additional ways to expand access to parks where acquisition isn’t an opportunity.    

Explore the systematic maintenance and expansion of the PP&R Community Center system to strengthen community relationships and community building and for the long term, to provide long term resiliency for the PP&R community center system.

Develop an RFP consistent with district public contracting policies. To be used for Madras Aquatic Center Recreation District (MACRD) Master Plan project.

Creating, developing, and implementing a mobile recreation program. Identify neighborhoods, mobile home parks, and apartment complexes that lack access to recreational opportunities due to transportation and or cost of programs. Research what it will cost to purchase a vehicle and customize it to hold equipment and materials to host programming. 

Redesigning certain aspects of existing parks in the Bend Park and Recreation District (BPRD) to align with a more sustainable design. 

Develop an integrated pest management program that will address pests throughout Oregon City parks in accordance with laws and regulations that will allow city workers to address pest problems efficiently and under scrutiny.

Build on work already underway in the Assets and Development group making improvements to the Capital Project Selection Process by creating and implementing an updated framework within the selection process to develop detailed project scopes of work earlier in the process and with a high degree of confidence about program and requirements to improve the execution and efficiency of capital project delivery.

Enhance engagement of the Latinx community at Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District
(THPRD) and involves four phases: Research, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. 

Collect and provide data for Bend Park and Recreation District Organization develop a plan on different child care support for District employees either: monthly stipend childcare or in-house childcare facility.

Lead a team to create a Community Garden designed for Seniors (Age 55+) to provide healthy nutrition and programming opportunities to this age demographic.

Developing a pilot “Corvallis Parks and Recreation Peer Support Group”. This group will meet every other month to focus on professional and emotional development in a supportive, communal environment. The intention of the group is to increase staff confidence, strengthen co-worker relationships, and demonstrate that the Corvallis Parks and Recreation department continually invests in the well-being and futures of its staff.

Improve the City’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) policy and reduce the risk of accident or injury from pesticide exposure to employees and park goers.

Define and scope a plan of action to create an information resource about parks and open-space utilization for the Portland Metro Area.
