Bring back consistent Leave No Trace outreach within our program and to add on a wildfire component to that uses the outreach and education that we already do while placing additional educational booths in or around

Creating, developing, and implementing a mobile recreation program. Identify neighborhoods, mobile home parks, and apartment complexes that lack access to recreational opportunities due to transportation and or cost of programs. Research what it will cost to purchase a vehicle and customize it to hold equipment and materials to host programming.

Capital Project Selection Scope Development Process
Build on work already underway in the Assets and Development group making improvements to the Capital Project Selection Process by creating and implementing an updated framework within the selection process to develop detailed project scopes of work earlier in the process and with a high degree of confidence about program and requirements to improve the execution and efficiency of capital project delivery.

Child Care Support Options for Bend Park and Recreation Employees
Collect and provide data for Bend Park and Recreation District Organization develop a plan on different child care support for District employees either: monthly stipend childcare or in-house childcare facility.

Peer Support Training
Developing a pilot “Corvallis Parks and Recreation Peer Support Group”. This group will meet every other month to focus on professional and emotional development in a supportive, communal environment. The intention of the group is to increase staff confidence, strengthen co-worker relationships, and demonstrate that the Corvallis Parks and Recreation department continually invests in the well-being and futures of its staff.
